Arabic is the official language of the UAE, and it is an important part of the country's culture and heritage.
We believe that it is important for all pupils to learn Arabic, regardless of their background or home language.

We use a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure that all pupils are able to learn at their own pace and reach their full potential.
In addition to our core Arabic program, we also offer a number of enrichment activities and programs. These include:

How do we teach Arabic at The Aquila School?
Our pupils start learning Arabic in FS1, and they continue to learn the language until Year 10 for non-Arabs and Year 13 for Arabs. We use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including:
- Interactive whiteboards and technology
- Authentic Arabic materials, such as books, newspapers, and magazines
- Games and activities
- Songs and chants
Our Arabic colleagues ensure a consistent experience for children across the curriculum. Arabic lessons - like all lessons in our school - are as active, engaging and relevant as possible. This leads to pupils making amazing progress and having excellent outcomes.
