Secondary pupils at The Aquila School took to the stage to put on a show like no other. The school’s production – Annie Jr, was performed by a cast of budding pupil actresses and actors. The show was staged in front of the school’s first live audience since the pandemic struck. With over 300 in attendance, the evening was filled with spectacular moments and proud families.
The school production proved itself to be an incredible opportunity for our pupils to develop their independence, confidence, resilience and teamwork skills. Our pupils spent the weeks before the production rehearsing, coordinating scenery and sets, and learning how to operate the stage lighting and sound equipment.
We cannot wait for next year’s production.
