Drama Workshop Week 2023

At The Aquila School we place a large emphasis on our children being able to express themselves, take part in activities and showcase their talents.

Throughout the year, we host a series of whole school themed learning weeks, where our children collaborate on different projects and learning themes. Drama Workshop Week is a dedicated week to promote drama throughout the school. Our children work to develop a production in their individual year groups, which is showcased to families at the end of the same week!

This year’s performances included; Peter Pan, Madagascar, Matilda, The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast. Our children immerse themselves in every element of the performance, from props and scenery, to costumes and lighting, and of course singing, dancing and acting. It is wonderful to see all of the children’s hard work and enthusiasm shine through as they performed for their parents and families.
