The month of Ramadan is a time for sharing and giving back. Every year, we ask our community to donate to our Ramadan Fridge and in recent years we also started the KindnessKloset campaign across all ISP schools.
These initiatives are designed to encourage members of the public to donate food, fruit,drinks, and toiletries that can be collected by members of the public who maybe in need. Everyone at The Aquila School has come together to show their kindness and generosity, through an incredible quantity of donations over the month of Ramadan.
To mark the beginning of Ramadan, some of our pupils and Arabic and Islamic department came together this morning to showcase our Ramadan assembly. We hear our favourite Ramadan songs and even visited the Ramadan museum!
It is wonderful to see our children learning about the month of Ramadan, and how these initiatives support and impact others in our community.
